Biography
As the Glendale Clinical Research Manager, Patty oversees the management and execution of human subject clinical research trials located in Arizona. She collaborates with external partners to support research and training in remote clinical trial sites to produce scientifically sound research that meet the objectives of each institution.
Patty graduated from Grand Canyon University in 2019 as a Nurse Practitioner and is board certified in Acute Care Gerontology. She began working as a Nurse Practitioner in private clinics in 2019 until early 2022 before joining Midwestern University. Prior to this she was a Cardiovascular Research Nurse at HonorHealth from 2012 to 2019. Research at HonorHealth included electrophysiology and interventional cardiovascular clinical trials spanning 5 healthcare campuses. In 2008, Patty began her research career as a research coordinator with a private practice overseeing clinical trials as a research coordinator and regulatory affairs specialist. Patty has experience in clinical trial management, contract and budget negotiations, regulatory affairs, protocol design, and Good Clinical Practice (GCP). As an experienced clinical trial coordinator, Patty has conducted Phase I through Phase IV clinical trials.
