Mission

The program’s mission is to provide emergency care to the community with compassion and commitment. The program seeks to nourish intellectual creativity and foster a safe environment to allow critical thinking and communication skills that stimulate personal growth and engender professional development. Our mission is to achieve educational excellence while mastering the healing arts with genuine respect and understanding of everyone they encounter. Through the usage of innovative ideas, evidence-based medicine, and best-in-class approaches, residents will gain the knowledge to re-imagine emergency care for future generations.

Aims

  1. To train physicians with competence in acquiring medical knowledge, new emergency medicine research, and the application of evidence-based medicine.
  2. To prepare physicians to face a wide array of community health care needs and apply best practice strategies to meet these needs.
